A unique approach to mentorship where teachers learn and enact core equity teaching practices in STEM

All Trellis teachers and mentors upheld a commitment to work to become activists for social justice through teaching. Central to these efforts was the incorporation of diversity and equity throughout our practices.

The purpose of this resource library is to help center equity in instructional STEM practice. All teachers and school administrators have a role in protecting spaces for teachers of color to have open dialogue about their unique, but also diverse experiences when navigating race in the field of education. All teachers have a responsibility to dismantle inequality and racism in our public school systems, and to examine their own role within that system.
